Today Mike + Torey are celebrating their first month of marriage. Congrats to the happy couple! This couple was wonderful to work with. They'd already decided on a beautiful color scheme of purples and greens. Always a great combo. We discussed design ideas and styles. Simple and sophisticated was the way to go for these two . They loved the idea of a couples monogram that included the wedding date, and wanted each card to have a different color boarder. They have a big family that would be attending the rehearsal dinner celebration. So the decision was made to include the rehearsal invite with the mailing of the wedding invitation. Therefore, they decided to use two RSVP cards. One for the wedding only guests and a second more robust RSVP for guest invited to the rehearsal dinner and the wedding festivities. It cost a little more, but made it easier for the couple to track their guest responses. Plus they saved on addressing and mailing the rehearsal invite separately.
The couple chose to have the suite of card held together with a belly band that featured the plaid pattern and their monogram. The finishing touch was a lined envelope with calligraphy by Butler's Pantry Calligraphy. I enjoyed every minute I spent with Mike + Torey, and loved getting to design wedding stationery that captured their style!
Woohoo! This wedding is featured on the United with Love blog with amazing images of the wedding celebrations by photographer Emily Clack, and the details pulled together by the wedding planning team at Candy + Co. Congrats again to Mike + Torey!
